Bertrand Duchaufour's creative process follows two fundamental principals; firstly, he believes that balance is achieved when opposites attract, like yin and yang. Secondly, nothing is lost nor is created, everything is transformed. He distorts and deconstructs nature, playing with contrasts such as vegetal and animalic notes. Bertrand is a veteran perfumer for L'Artisan.

Dzongkha is a rapturous fragrance, inspired by the remote Buddhist mountain kingdom of Bhutan in the eastern Himalayas. Rich with aromatic influences, Dzongkha tells a special story on every skin: that of Dzongkha itself, the spiritual language of Bhutan. Notes of vétiver, peony, incense and iris.
