Jean-Claude Ellena is without doubt one of the most renowned and talented perfumers of his generation. Born in Grasse and the son of a perfumer, he first learnt about the art of perfume in the south of France before studying at Givaudan. Before becoming Hermés' exclusive in-house perfumer in 2004, Jean-Claude Ellena created fragrances for various brands, including L'Artisan Parfumeur.

L'Eau d'Ambre Extreme is L'Artisan Parfumeur's expression of classic amber, one of the most beloved notes in all perfumery, taken to the extreme. The fragrance feels like plush red velvet on the skin, enveloping, moreish and addictively sensual. Notes of geranium, vanilla and amber.
