Ever since Dana Dodson came across Kevyn Aucoin’s Making Faces, she knew makeup was the career path for her. She sought opportunities where she could interact with the “every day woman” to enhance her inner beauty and spirit, while also encouraging others to experiment with color and technique. Dana joined the Barneys New York team as a Makeup Artist for Shu Uemura in 2006, shortly after the Copley store opened, and was promoted to the Resident Makeup Artist in the summer of 2010, having the ability to represent every line carried in the store. She is known throughout the Boston area for her makeup application techniques – every day and evening looks, theatrical applications, and bridal.
