Tweed Mini Skirt
For Resort 2014, Nina Ricci creative director Peter Copping puts a
modern, slightly deconstructed stamp on the house’s fabled feminine
French codes. Inspired by Provence's warm-weather colors and rustic
textiles, the line includes floral eyelet, tropical tweeds, airy chiffon
and signature touches of lace.
Here, Copping adds a whole new dimension to the traditional tweed mini by using architectural folds of fabric that flare abruptly over the hips before being directed back to the body to create a fluted hem.
