When optician Larry Leight and his brother, Dennis, stumbled upon an estate collection of rare metal frames consigned by one “Oliver Peoples” at an auction in Connecticut, a global brand was born. The brothers opened their first optical shop in West Hollywood in 1987, selling the vintage glasses alongside their own historically inspired collection. Today, Oliver Peoples’ handcrafted eyewear sets the standard for luxury and glamour with just the right hint of nostalgia.
