How to Order

1. Use the website navigation at the top of the page (eg. Designers, Womens, Shoes, Handbags, Beauty, etc.) or use the search box at the top right of the page to locate items you are looking for.
2. Once you find an item, choose the size (where applicable) and quantity. Then, click the Add to Bag button.
3. You can review your items by clicking on the Barneys Bag button at the top right of the screen. To remove any items in your bag, simply click the Remove button, or Update Quantity button to change the number of an item.
4.When you are ready to make a purchase, click the Checkout button and follow the steps to complete your transaction.

How do I know Barneys received my order?

Once we have received your order, you will receive an email confirming your order. Please note this does not guarantee the merchandise is available.

How to track the status of my order:

Once we have shipped your order, you will receive an email update with shipping details and a FedEx tracking number. You may follow the link in the email to check the estimated arrival of your order.

Can I cancel my order?

To cancel an order call Customer Service at 1-888-222-7639. Once an item has shipped, an order cannot be canceled.

Can I modify my order?

You have an option to cancel the order and place a new one. Please call Customer Service at 1-888-222-7639.

When I put something in my shopping cart am I guaranteed I will receive the merchandise?

Unfortunately, items are not guaranteed in stock. If we are unable to complete your order, you will be notified via email within 5 business days.

Can I use my gift card online?

Yes. During the checkout process on the "Payment & Order Review" page, please type in your gift card number located on the back of the card, into the gift cards box and click Apply.

How do I pay my bill online?

At the bottom of the screen, click into Barneys Credit Card. Then click into "Pay Your Bill Online" on the left side of the screen. If it is your first time paying your bill online, click the Enroll button on top which will prompt you to create an online account with a login and password ID. Once this is done you can view your account details and make payments (please note that in order to enroll for the first time, you must have balance on your Barneys New York credit card).

How long does it take to receive a refund?

Once your return package is received at our warehouse, an email advising that your refund is in process will be sent. Please note it may take up to 30 days to appear on your credit card depending on your billing cycle.

Do you accept exchanges?

At this time, Barneys New York does not accept exchanges.

Can I use more than one (1) form of payment?

Unfortunately, you cannot use more than one (1) credit card on a single order. However, you can use your credit card and a Barneys New York gift card.

Does Barneys.com ship to multiple addresses for the same order?

At this time, we cannot ship to multiple addresses for the same order.

How do I unsubscribe from emails?

To unsubscribe from emails, please click here. It takes up to 72 hours to be unsubscribed from Barneys New York emails.

How long will it take to receive my order?

We currently offer 3 shipping methods via FedEx:
Ground - Delivery occurs in 3-6 business days after processing begins
Basic (2nd Day Air) - Delivery occurs in 2-3 business days after processing begins
Priority (Next Day Air) - Delivery occurs the next business day (excluding holidays) if placed by 12PM ET

*Processing may take up to 48 hours depending on when the order was placed.

How do I return my order?

If you are not delighted with your purchase, Barneys New York offers complimentary returns: simply return the item in its original condition within 30 days for a full refund, less any original shipping costs if applicable.

To receive a refund based on purchase price of the item(s) and in the original form of payment:
1. All merchandise must be returned within 30 days of the original purchase date.
2. The merchandise must be in saleable condition with tickets attached.
3. The merchandise must not be altered.

Sale merchandise may not be returned after 30 days. Requests for price adjustments will be honored if the merchandise was purchased at full price and if it is marked down within 7 days of receipt of your package. Not returnable at any time: lingerie, swimwear, antique jewelry and clothing, pierced earrings, women’s eveningwear, altered merchandise, and any item marked Final Sale.

Returning your item

Complete the return section on the packing slip and include it with your merchandise. For your convenience, we have included a pre-paid United States Postal Service (USPS) return label with your packing slip. Simply complete your name and address and affix the return label to the outside of your package. We suggest that you retain a record of the return tracking number for future reference. If you do not have the return form, you may include the shipment notification email as your proof of purchase. Please include a note with your order stating why you are returning the merchandise.

You may use the original packaging, however, be sure to black out or cover any additional ship labels that may be on your return package.

Your return package can be dropped off at any US Post Office, dropped in any USPS collection box, or given to your USPS carrier.

Barneys.com offers complimentary returns on all U.S. orders. No fee will be deducted from your return.

If you choose to use a different return method or you no longer have the pre-paid label, please return your item to the following address:

Fine Jewelry Returns
Fine jewelry and watches greater than $10,000 cannot be returned using the enclosed pre-paid USPS label. Instead, you should return your package via the carrier of your choice with return signature required. For your protection, fine jewelry returns should be insured for their full value.

Can an item purchased on barneys.com be returned a Barneys New York store?

Yes. You can return your online purchase to any store with the exception of outlets.

How do I return or exchange a gift?

A Barneys New York gift card will be sent to the gift recipient once the item has been returned. If you would like the money refunded to the gift purchaser, please call Customer Service. At this time, gift exchanges are not accepted on Barneys.com.

Can you gift wrap my order?

Yes. We offer complimentary gift wrapping. Simply check the gift wrap box upon check out. You can also include a personal gift message.

Is the server for Barneys.com secure?

To help insure that your shopping experience is safe and secure Barneys.com uses Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology. This encrypts and protects the data you send to us over the internet. When the letters "http" in the URL address change to "https", you have entered the secure SSL technology. Your browser also might indicate that you are entering a secure area with a pop up message.

Do you offer price adjustments?

Requests for price adjustments will be honored if the merchandise was purchased at full price and marked down within 7 days of receipt of your package. Please contact Web Services directly at 1-888-222-7639. They are available Monday - Friday 9am to 9pm and Saturday / Sunday 11:30am to 8pm EST. Please reference your order number and a Customer Service Representative will be happy to assist you in processing your refund.

Can I ship my order internationally?

We currently ship to eighty-nine countries. Select your destination country from the International Shipping dropdown, located on the Barneys Cart page. Free ground shipping is not valid on international shipments.
