Felted Wool Trench Coat
Own a piece of fashion history: The 19 separates in Proenza Schouler's First Collection are based on the original 2003 line by Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez. Reinterpreted for 2013, the pieces are now styled with new fabrics, figure-flattering design details and luxe new trims.
Here, wool-blend felt softens the lines of a traditionally styled trench coat. Cut with a notched collar and raglan sleeves, the double breasted coat is detailed with a button-down storm flap and handwarmer pockets. The coat cinches with a pick-stitched self buckle belt featuring button belt keepers. Hand pick-stitching finishes seams, pockets, storm patch and lapel. Available in Charcoal. Made in Italy. Wool/nylon/elastane. Dry clean.
- This piece runs true to size
- Model is 5' 9", measures 32"-23 1/2"-34" and is wearing a size 4
In 2002, designers Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez combined their mothers’ maiden names to create Proenza Schouler. The duo attended Parson’s School of Design where their senior thesis became their first formal collection and was bought in its entirety by Barneys New York. Inspired by youth culture and modern art, the designers continually wow their worldwide following while using custom-developed materials to skillfully craft their womenswear, accessories and, of course, signature handbags.
