Tweed Flare Skirt
For Pre-spring 2014, Proenza Schouler showed a collection that combined last season's soft lines with experimental silhouettes. The design duo used fluid fabric—accordion pleated cloqué, nubby bouclé tweed and a variety of silky prints—to craft pieces with edgy lightness and movement.
Box pleats lend movement to this flared cotton-blend tweed skirt finished with a banded waist. Invisible side zip. Lined. 20" length. Available in Crimson Combo. Made in Italy. Viscose/nylon/cotton/acrylic/polyester. Dry clean.Style # 503178661
In 2002, designers Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez combined their mothers’ maiden names to create Proenza Schouler. The duo attended Parson’s School of Design where their senior thesis became their first formal collection and was bought in its entirety by Barneys New York. Inspired by youth culture and modern art, the designers continually wow their worldwide following while using custom-developed materials to skillfully craft their womenswear, accessories and, of course, signature handbags.
