Parsons School of Design graduate Gelareh Mizrahi spent time working at a major French fashion house before founding her namesake line of whimsical, colorful handbags in 2013. Featuring unexpected silhouettes such as a clutch in the shape of a slice of pepperoni pizza or a gap-toothed smile, the Iranian-born designer’s label has expanded to include pins and custom-made accessories. Often crafted of luxurious, sustainably sourced python, Mizrahi’s effervescent creations can be seen on the arms of fashion editors and bloggers alike.
