Influential and highly innovative, home accessories manufacturer Alessi crafts creatively designed bowls, buckets, and other table necessities. The company was founded by Giovanni Alessi in Omegna, Italy, in 1921 and originally produced metal utensils and dishes for the restaurant trade. Under the leadership of Giovanni’s son Carlo, Alessi expanded its line to include functional, whimsically shaped objects developed in collaboration with notable designers, including Naoto Fukasawa and Alessandro Mendini.
