The Architects Club
woody amber
An addictive smoky amber woody fragrance with a surprising, cool gin opening.

Dusk, March, 1930, Mayfair, London
A group of architects gather for cocktails at Mayfair's smartest Art Deco smoking room. As they settle in the warm interior of dark woods, leather and velvet, London's bright young things burst in, frosted martinis in hand, surrounded by a cloud of laughter, white smoke and fine vanilla.
Notes include: Juniper berry oil, Angelica root, Lemon, Bitter Orange, Pepperwood, Guaiac wood, Oak wood, Vanilla Absolute and Amber.

Developed with Yann Vasnier

- “The Architects Club was inspired upon reading the story of Claridge's renovation in the late1920’s by two famous Art Deco architects. The bar and lobby was renovated in the late twenties and became one of the city's most brilliant Art Deco interiors.  Taking a cue from the architecture (the velvet sofas, the leather paneled walls, the exotic woods), and the very English concept of "clubs" (the vanilla from a smoking pipe), all in a warm, cozy conversation…and then disrupting it with this bright, fresh decadence of London's bright young things (the London dry gin martini in the fragrance opening).” – Carlos Huber

Eau de Parfum  3.4 fl oz /100 ml

Style #503675024
For New York-based Carlos Huber, who founded luxury fragrance collection Arquiste in 2011, olfactory stimulation creates a pathway to a different time and place. A scholar of architecture and historic preservation, Huber infuses his expertly crafted scents with rare ingredients intended to evoke the aromas surrounding notable moments in history. The innovative perfumes and candles recall such events as the 17th-century signing of the Treaty of the Pyrenees and the making of spiced cocoa at a Mexican convent in 1695.
